[Exhibition Info] Yayoi Kusama Retrospective to be Held at Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany

We are pleased to announce that a major retrospective covering 70 years of Yayoi Kusama’s artistic career will take place at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany. .

The exhibition traces the artist's trajectory over approximately 70 years, featuring everything from her early avant-garde works to her latest creations. In addition to iconic installations like the "Infinity Mirror Room," which uses mirrors and light to reflect endless space, the exhibition will also feature works being shown in Germany for the very first time.

If you are planning to visit Germany, we invite you to experience the world of Yayoi Kusama at this special retrospective.

Exhibition Information

European Tour Information

This is a major exhibition that will tour the following three cities:

  • Basel, Switzerland: Fondation Beyeler (October 12, 2025 – January 25, 2026)
  • Cologne, Germany: Museum Ludwig (March 14, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
  • Amsterdam, Netherlands: Stedelijk Museum (September 11, 2026 – January 17, 2027)
